Officials Discuss Beach Control

Pattaya officials have discussed ways to manage the beach area because of complaints from many people.

PATTAYA-14th November- [PattayaDailyNews] Mr.Ronnakit Aekasingha- deputy mayor of Pattaya- chaired a meeting about beach operators. The police, director of PBTA and Pattaya members attending the meeting.

 

The meeting was to discuss about beach vendors who acted out of order. Also the street vendors had sold their goods on the beach which set a bad image of Pattaya; therefore, PBTA and the Thai hotel association proposed to make the beach non-commercial.

 

Mr.Ronnakit said that most of activity on the beach promoted Pattaya tourism such as Pattaya International Firework Festival, Pattaya Countdown, Pattaya Music Festival, Pattaya Marathon and the Amazing Food festival. These activities had always been held every year.

 

In addition, they also discussed the Pattaya International Firework Festival which will be held from the 27th -28th November 2015 and 20 tents 700 meters long will be set up along the beach.
