Official Wrecked Pattaya ResortA resort in Pattaya was demolished by official due to illegal construction in public area.
PATTAYA-13 September- [PattayaDailyNews] at 10.00am Mr Komsan Aekachai, governor of Chonburi, ordered Mr Noraset Sitapatso, chief of Sattahip district, Maj Col Chartchai Sipho-On, senior deputy chief, Mr Chawat Thepthap, deputy chief of stabilisation division, CAPT Boonmee Kaewsanga, chief of 4th navy, and Ms Ratchani Krumlikit, deputy mayor of Najomtien, to lead a team to dismantle Ton Hard resort and restaurant.
Engineering division of Najomtien municipal was in charge of dismantling, the officers wrecked the wall, conference hall and swimming pool of the resort with backhoe.
Mr Noraset revealed that Sattahip office had prosecuted the operator in 2004 because the operator opened resort on public area. The operator was informed several times to dismantle the building; however, they rejected the warning sign of official.
In addition, the operator has to bear demolishing cost for 480,000 baht. However, demolishing would be finished within a couple days.
Upon inspection there are 15 operators who have their building in public area, Pattaya marine department already inspected these operators and reported Pattaya court. The final sentence of court would be disclosed soon.
