The offenders confessed to performing several robberies in the Pattaya/Banglamung and Sattahip areas, most notably a robbery instigated on Mr. Rolf Ernst Seiler [70] and his wife Mrs. Verena Seiler [65] from Switzerland on the 26th of May 2010. In the robbery Mr. Seiler was struck over the head with a pair of bolt-cutters and knocked unconscious whilst his wife was bound and gagged as the gang went about stealing over Bt86,000 baht in cash, a diamond necklace, diamond ring, 5 watches and a gold webbing ring. The jewellery has an estimated value of approximately Bt2 million.

Lt. Col. Saengpring stated that it was of great urgency that these criminals be apprehended as the violent nature of their crimes had been increasing with every case. He praised his team of officers for their vigilance in assisting to apprehend these suspects, revealing his delight at having caught the notorious thieves once and for all. Sattahip Police have now been informed of the arrests so as they may proceed with their own line of enquiries over cases involving the suspects.
