Norwegian Pharmacist Kills and Cuts-Up Wife In Phuket

A Norwegian man in Phuket was arrested three years after killing and cutting-up his wife. The gruesome murder was re-enacted at a his house in Phuket. Mr. Stain Harvard Dokseth said that he had hit and pushed his wife off the stairs before cutting her up and disposing the body parts in a garbage bag which remained hidden in the bathroom for 3 years.

PHUKET – February 29, 2012 [Pattaya Daily News]; Phuket police arrived yesterday to inspect house # 60/11, Soi Koktanode in Kata, which belonged to Mr. Stain Harvard Dokseth, an ex-Norwegian pharmacist. In the house the police found a 9 mm pistol, 58 cartridges, two wallets, a mobile phone, a sim card, wrist watch and ID card belonging to Mrs.Rungnapa Suktong.

The police upon inspecting the first floor and the bathroom encountered a strong rotten smell from the bin. They opened it and saw human body parts.

Mr.Dotseth was arrested and was brought to the police station. At first he denied all charges but confessed later.

On March 1, 2012. The police brought Mr. Dotseth to the crime scene for re-enactment. Mr. Dotseth said that, on the that very day he had quarrelled with his wife, hit her and pushed her off the stairs. Then when he had checked her pulse he found that she was dead. So he decided to cut her body up and hide it in the trash bin.

The investigating officers said the two had met and lived together but they had not registered their marriage. Mr. Stain had fallen madly in love with Mrs. Rungnapa Suktong and decided to sell his resort in Norway and invest his money in land and real estate in Phuket.

Later he found out that Mrs.Rungnapa had an affair and she dumped him to marry a Thai police man with whom she had a child. Mr. Stain tried to get her back but he failed.

Mrs. Rungnapa disappeared on July 19, 2009 and her relatives tried to contact her but to no avail. Her family reported to the case the police at Katoo police station in Phuket. The case went cold so the relatives reported to the crime control department.
