Nong Prue Police Arrest Drug Gang

The police of Nong Prue police station have arrested a drug dealing gang who had been ordered by a prisoner in the Bangkok Remand Prison.

PATTAYA – March 19,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 11.00 a.m., Mr. Chakhorn Kanjanawatta (Banglamung sheriff, Chon Buri province), Pol.Col. Pramot Ngarmpradit (Superintendent of Nong Prue police station, Amphur Banglamung), Pol.Lt.Col. Thapanat Chayarnphat (Deputy Superintendent), Pol.Maj. Natthakorn Mongkhonmaha (Inspector) and detective police teams together made a statement about the arrest of drug dealers in the area which consisted of : 1. Mr. Chamnarn or Nong Rahotharn, aged 49, with 2.01 g of methamphetamines, 2. Mr. Phichit or Nui Markmee, aged 44, with 90.07g of methamphetamines and 1,800 amphetamines pills, and another 4 defendants who were drug addicts.

 

The arrest were made after Nong Prue police had arrested some drug addicts who then told the police who they bought their drugs from. Mr. Chamnarn was arrested in his house with 2.01 g of methamphetamines. They then arrested Mr. Phichit (a big drug agent ) at his house in Soi Nong Mai Kaen, Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, with 90.07g of methamphetamines and 1,800 amphetamine pills.

 

The detective police team of Nong Prue police station had investigated this case until they found out about the drug network and a prisoner inside the Bangkok Remand Prison had ordered the drug dealers. Initially, the police had detained all defendants and sent them to the inquiry official in order to be prosecuted according to the Thai law and they will also coordinate with the Department of Corrections in order to find the prisoner who had ordered the drug agents from inside the Bangkok Remand Prison.
