Pattaya – On 3 February 2008, Mr. Sarawut Sae-ear (30), an assistant trainer at NAVY 3, Sattahip, Chonburi, from 64/40 Moo 4 Chensook Village 1, Soi 3, Sattahip, and his family met, with Sattahip Inspector, Police Lieutenant Rawat Pitsorah, to report a sexual assault on his wife, Mrs. Jiranun Glinpayom (23). According to Mr. Sarawut, at 12 Noon of the same day, Mr. Weeraman Potisan (29), from 27 Moo 6, Dongbang, Bungkonglong, Nongkhai, was attempting to rape his wife.

As Mr. Weeraman was attempting to pull off Mrs. Jiranun’s clothes, she fought back and screamed for help. Her four year old son ran into the room, jumped on Mr. Weeraman’s back, hit him and bit his arm. At the same time, neighbors were running to help. At that point Mr. Weeraman gave up and ran away.

The couple explained to the police that Mr. Weeraman, Mr. Sarawut’s student, was being trained as part of a of drug rehabilitation program. After finishing the course, all students are required to present themselves at the school. Mr. Weeraman, who said he had no place to stay, asked Mr. Sarawut for assistance. Mr. Sarawut offered to let Mr. Weeraman stay at his place for a few days.

Mr. Sarawut was, quite understandably, very angry, and wants justice for his wife’s attacker. Police will attempt to find and apprehend Mr. Weeraman as soon as possible. Kudos go to the couple’s brave and heroic four year old boy.
