No Deaths So Far In Pattaya’s First Three Days Of Songkran

The local hospitals in the Pattaya area have reported that there have been no deaths so far during the first 3 days of Songkran 2014,but there have been 92 reported accidents.

PATTAYA – 14 April 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; Pattayadailynews have been informed that the local hospitals in Pattaya Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, Pattaya International Hospital and Banglamung Hospital that there have not been any reported fatality’s during the first 3 days of this year’s Songkran Festival. The 10 days of Songkram in past years has seen many people killed due to be intoxicated whilst driving.

According to the latest statistics there have been 92 accidents with 29 of them during the day and 63 at night. There have been 59 males and 37 females injured so far and most of them have been caused by drink driving and not wearing a crash helmet.

The information was supplied by Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, Pattaya International Hospital and Banglamung Hospital.
