The mayor of Pattaya has ordered everyone concerned to search for new land to construct a multi storey car park. They intend to build one on the Atthajinda road which is near Bali Hai pier. The land is 300 meters in length and 10-15 meters in width. They expect it will ease the congestion around Bali Hai Pier.

The officers will present the proposed project to the congress of Pattaya in order to ask for a budget. It’s expected that the land will be able to park around 500 cars.

However, there is already an automatic car park at Bali Hai but very few people use it and many have complained because not all cars can use it and it costs 30 baht an hour and 300 baht for an overnight stay.
