NCPO Summons Sectors To Discuss At Pattaya City Hall

NCPO summoned concerned sections to discuss troubles of Pattaya city especially transportation operators issue.

PATTAYA – January 17,2017 [PattayaDailyNews]; Col Pobanan Luangphanuwat, deputy chief of Military Circle 14, charged the conference to discuss with Pattaya administrators, soldiers, police, land transportation of Chonburi, Pattaya members and operators about the solution to control public transportation in Pattaya.

 

The official indicated that it nowadays lacks of order which leads to continuous problem such as traffic congestion. Plus, some operates without license and some utilised public area for personal purpose.

 

Recently, NCPO has effectively legislated the rules to control minibus by defining service routes, making bus stop and prohibit rental rate.

 

However, some taxis still illegally uses footpath as station especially front of department store. According to this case, the official totally prohibits this act.

In addition, the official requested department store to not allow or support black license taxi who illegally operates without permit from official.

 

Meanwhile, rental motorcycle operators has establish association and they have strict rules to control each other after Pattaya city has law to control them previously.

 

Pol Col Pobanan said that these problems are pending for a long time; therefore, the official and NCPO have to cope them as soon as possible and the solution should be effective. Initially, the official requests collaboration from the operators; however, they would have to prosecute if they disobey.

 

In addition, the official has a plan to inspect actual site in order to collect data such as targeted group, complaint and service area so that the official would be able to find the cause of the problem.
