NCPO Approves Budget For Pattaya

Pattaya will be allocated 1,499 million baht budget after the NCPO had approved the budget. Plus the NCPO had focused on Pattaya because it was a tourism city.

PATTAYA – September 4, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; Mr.Ittipol Khunpleum-mayor of Pattaya- revealed that a budget that Pattaya officials had requested  was 2,263 million baht from public sector.

 

In fact Pattaya should be allocated about 1 % of the budget because Pattaya is a was tourism city which can make a lot of money for Thailand. In addition the budget was quite high because it will be allocated for the quality of life of Pattaya people such as old people, developing the environment, security for  tourists and the infrastructure.

 

Mr.Ittipol added that they aimed to allocate the budget for schemes such as constructing Ko Lan quay, developing marine security, renovation of Pattaya beach, traffic congestion, improving the waste water treatment system in Ko Lan and Pattaya and constructing an eastern stadium. The committee will discuss the budgets approval again and it’s expected that it will be approved by October 1st.
