Naval Officers Thwart Drugs Gang

Sattahip navy officers had arrested drug dealing gang in the local area. The dealers bought the drugs from Cambodian agent before distributing in the local area.

SATTAHIP- December 20, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 16.00 p.m. VADM.Wipak Noyjinda commander of Sattahip Navy base, accompanied with CAPT.Niwat Hacharoen, Director of drug protection division made a statement about arresting a drug dealing gang, consisting of Mr.Songwut Pipatsuttipong aged 54, in possession of 3,742 baht, Mr.Tanad Kulsiriwong aged 54 in possession of a 9 mm pistol and 11 bullets, SEAMAN Kridsana Daradikul aged 23 in possession of 34 amphetamines, Mr.Wittaya Songsiri aged 22 in possession of  12 amphetamines, Mr.Sampan Kantajula aged 37 in possession of 5 amphetamines and Mr.Kritsana Ouppachai

 

CAPT.Niwat revealed that previously the officers found out that SEAMAN Kridsana had consumed and dealt drugs. The naval officials investigated the case until they could arrest Mr.Songwut in his house. Mr.Songwut buried the drugs in the garden in front of his house which was later discovered. He confessed that he had dealt drugs for a long time and he added that he had bought drugs from Mr.Thong, a Cambodian man, for 85 baht a pill before re-selling them for 200-500 baht a pill.
