At the house no. 158/55 Chatkeaw Village in Soi Kaonoi, police found the body of Mr. Cedric Nyffeler (36), a Swiss national, lying on the floor near the bed. His room was untidy but his body had no wounds or any signs that he’d been attacked. His valuables remained in his room. Police presumed that he had been dead for about 7 days.

Police questioned Mr. Pansak Gleeptakob [45], the landlord’s house keeper, who said Mr. Nyffeler had rented the house for many years and had taken many different women home. Mr. Pansak said he hadn’t seen Mr. Pansak for quite sometime so he went to check at his house and found his body dead on the floor.

Police have transferred his body to the forensic lab at the police Hospital for examination and will inform the Swiss Embassy about his death.
