Murders Ghost Forces Confession

A woman from Songkhla, confessed that she got into a rage with her best friend and killed her with a hammer. The incident came about because her best friend owed her 25,000 THB that she still hadn’t paid back. She confessed to the murder because she kept dreaming about her dead friend’s ghost.

SONGKHLA – February 22, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; a journalist reported that at 11.30, Saton police station, Songkhla, announced the arrest of Miss Ketnipa Raknu, 32 years old, the suspect in the case of abducting and murdering a Miss Apinya Sasen, 23 years old, her best friend. She hid the body in a rubber tree wood, in moo 8, Banlum, Tapchang, Natawee, Songkhla. The incident happened on February 14. The murdered women had been killed with a hammer and had her belongings stolen which consisted of 200 baht cash, gold necklace, and gold ring, which were sold in a gold shop in Natawee district.

Upon questioning Miss Ketnipa, she confessed that she had lent her friend 25,000 baht but she still hadn’t paid it back. On the day of the murder she rode her motorcycle to pick the girl up from her house in Prakope sub district, Natawee district to discuss the matter but they still couldn’t come to an agreement so she used a hammer to kill her.

After 7 days had passed she dreamt that the girl told her to go and take the body out of the forest. She was so scared about the dream that she asked her relatives to go to find a medium who went with them to help find the body. Later she was forced to confess to the murder and was arrested by police.
