Muggers Arrested By Police

Pattaya police have made a statement about the arrest of 2 Thai men who were part of a 4 man gang that mugged a victim in South Pattaya.

PATTAYA – April 11,2015 [PattayaDailyNews]; at 15.00m pm Pol.Maj.Gen.Nitipong Niemnoi-commander of Chonburi-, Pol.Col.Suktad Pumpanmuang-superintendent of Pattaya police station-, and police officers made a statement about the arrest of Mr.Anan Waikarn aged 35 and Mr.Weerawat Pawut aged 32 who were two suspects of a 4 man gang that robbed a gold necklace and cell phone that belonged to Mr.Suppachai Chuahong aged 27.


On April 10th at 06.30 am, Mr.Suppachai was mugged by the 4 men in Soi Sunee road, South Pattaya.
The police then hunted for the gang and they found out that they were staying in a nearby room. The police then raided the room where they found 2 members of the gang and the necklace and phone. They were then arrested and taken to the police station for questioning. They confessed to the police that they had mugged the victim and that Mr.Wide and another man were the other 2 members who are still on the run.
