MOTS Inspectors Visit Pattaya

Ministry of Tourism and Sports inspectors inspect Pattaya to find ways of stimulating tourism during low season.

PATTAYA – May 27, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];-at 17.00 pm. Dr.Pattanachart Kridbaworn-chief of Ministry of Tourism and Sports inspectors- had inspected the result of the 2nd official inspections 2014 at the visitor centre for the tourism police. Mr Utthapon Wannakij-director of Pattaya TAT- and Pol.Lt.Col.Arun Prompun- tourism police inspector- welcomed and reported the operating result to Dr Pattanachart.
 
Dr Pattanachart revealed that the policy focuses on 3 main objects.
 
1. Thailand Tourism Festival: TTF
2.Special common day promotion
3.Volunteers for helping tourists training
 
Mr Utthapon revealed that Thailand Tourism Festival 2014 which will be held on the 5-8 June 2014 will show famous villages in each part of Thailand in order to stimulate tourism industries.
 
Meanwhile Special day promotions by Pattaya TAT have tried to stimulate the economy during low season. They opened Pattaya Grand Sale 2014 where stores, operators, accommodations and tourist attractions offered their promotion in the exhibition to increase sales..
Pol Lt Col Arun Prompun said that the Volunteers who help tourists have focused on a number of different training needs so they can assist tourists better. He added that this is strength and good point of Pattaya.
 
After the conference the group of MOTS inspectors had gathered information in order to represent to the minister. This inspection could reach the goal which TAT aimed for to urge tourism during the low season.
