Motorcyclists Drops MoneyA Thai man who was riding a motorbike dropped over 20,000 baht on the road. Some bystanders shouted at him to stop but he kept going, luckily they collected all the money and called the police.
PATTAYA – June 4,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 6.30 p.m., Pol.Capt. Kengsart Nuanphong (Deputy Inspector of Pattaya city police station, Chon Buri province) was notified that some local people in Soi LK, south Pattaya, had collected up a lot of banknotes that had fallen onto the road. Therefore, Pol.Capt. Kengsart rushed to inspect the scene together with a police team.
At the scene the officers found 5 people who had collected the bank notes and they were identified as Mrs. Janjaree Bantoey, aged 57, Miss Wanwisa Saenmueang, aged 30, Miss Sirilak Boonpratheep, aged 30, Miss Nawaporn Pui-utha, aged 39 and Mrs. Orthanakorn Chanasit, aged 56. They had collected various notes which totalled 21,020 THB. Upon questioning them they told police that a Thai man who was driving a motorbike went past and the bank notes started falling from his bag so they shouted him to stop but he kept on going so they picked up the notes and called the police.
Pol.Capt. Kengsart said that he would like to thank the bystanders who saw the incident and collected the bank notes because they were very kind and honest. Pol.Capt. Kengsart kept all the notes and recorded the incident while they search for the right full owner.
