Motorcyclist Crushed To Death By Coach Wheel

A man from Ubonratchathani who was riding his motorcycle at high speed crashed into a coach and was crushed to death by its wheels as it was performing a u-turning. The incident happened on Jomtien 2nd road.

PATTAYA – February 22, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 01.20, Pol.Lt.Col.Attharos Krongraj, detective officer of pattaya police station, sub branch Dongtarl, was notified that there was an accident involving a coach and a motorcycle and that the motorcyclist had been killed on Jomthian second road, in front of Rimhard Condominium, moo 12, Nongprue, Banglamoong, Chonburi, he rushed to the scene with the rescuers from Sawangboriboon Thammasathan foundation Pattaya.

At the incident was tour coach (bus) which belonged to Petteppanom tour, license plate numbers were 32-1958 Bangkok. Nearby there was a red-black Honda Wave, Ngor Yor Ror-471 Chonburi, on its side and the body of the rider was stuck under the wheel of the coach. The victim was identified as a Mr.Somsak Kaeodee, 39 years old, from Ubonratchathani, his skull had been crushed even though he was wearing a helmet, he had also suffered broken arms and legs.

Upon questioning a Mr.Preecha Wangjunklang, 41 years old who was the bus driver from Srakaeo, he told police he was on his way home and was performing a u-turn the deceased who was riding his motorcycle at high speed from south Pattaya heading to Jomtien but could not slowdown in time and collided with his bus and was thrown under the wheels crushing him to death.

The police then took Mr.Preecha to prosecute him for driving careless driving and causing other people’s death.
