Mothers Appeals For Her Sons Justice In Pattaya

A man who was attacked by 10 attackers who used knives and pieces of wood to attack him fought back in self defense. When the police arrived he was caught holding a knife and was arrested.

PATTAYA – September 10, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 00.10 am reporters were informed by a Mrs Nilubol Pomthaisong aged 45 who asked for justice for Mr.Wachira Lasa her 28 year old son after he had been attacked with a piece of wood and knife by 13 men, so he fought back with a knife. Later the police intervened in the incident before prosecuting Mr.Wachira in act of trying to kill others. The incident occurred near the Happy Full Karaoke, South Pattaya.


Mrs.Nilubol revealed that on August 19th his son who was working in the karaoke shop and said that he had a problem with a work colleague. The colleague then called 10 friends who used knives and pieces of woods to attack Mr.Wachira. Mr.Wachira was severely injured but he picked up a knife which had been dropped by one of the attackers and slashed one of them in order to protect himself.


Later when the police officers turned up to the scene they found Mr.Wachira still holding the knife so they arrested him in the act of trying to kill others. Plus Mr.Wachira had been jailed, although he was injured. After his mom found out she went to meet Pol.Lt.Sanan Kotanan-inspector of Pattaya- and asked him to take her son to hospital.


At 20.00 pm of the same day, the police officers took Mr.Wachira to hospital. Upon inspecting the doctor said that he suffered a fractured orbit and he needed to stay in hospital. However the police officers claimed that there weren’t enough officers to monitor him so the doctors gave him some antibiotics before the police took him back to the police station. His mom had tried to bail him out but he had already been sent to Pattaya remand prison.


However she appealed to the Royal Thai Police office and the reporters in order to ask for justice for her son.
