From inspecting, the police found a lovely male baby, approximately 7 days old, he had white skin and looks half Thai and half Arabian, he was covered with the red towel and was wearing a baby hat and clothes. The officer questioned Mr. Samai Khamthongthip (the motorbike taxi rider) and he said that previously the baby’s mother a Ms. Kay aged approximately 27, a Nong Bua Lamphu resident had quarrelled with her Iranian husband so she hired him to take her to Weena guest house which is located at the T-junction to Pattaya provincial court, in order for her to rent a room.

But he saw that Ms. Kay didn’t have any money and he felt sorry for her so he gave her some money to rent a room. She also said that tomorrow she will go back home so he also gave her money for the fare. At 6.00 p.m. Ms. Kay called Mr. Samai to pick up her son and asked him to assist in taking care of her baby while she went to pick up her clothes from her husband’s room in Walking Street so Mr. Samai went to pick up the baby and took care of him until almost midnight but Ms. Kay still hadn’t come to collect her baby so he called her but her phone was off. Mr. Samai then went to her rented room at Weena guest house but he found that she hadn’t stayed there so he decided to take the baby to the police station in order find the baby’s mother.

Initially, the officers contacted to Ban Banglamung – Children and Women Institutional Care Centre in order for them to come and pick up the baby to take care of him, but this centre could not accept the baby so a young female bystander pitied with the baby and she assisted in taking care of him. The police then made a record for evidence and will follow up any leads to find this heartless mother.
