Cultural shows consisting of classical Thai dancing with colourful costumes and beautiful dancers were provided by Nongnooch Village. The tourists also enjoyed foot massage and getting their nails done. There were also Cabaret shows by second category women which brought smiles to the tourists? faces even though it was late at night.

Facilities at U-tapao have steadily improved and check-in procedures at hotels instead of the airport had relieved much of the pressure on the airport’s limited resources. Contrary to the situation a few days earlier, during the evening of 2 November it seemed that everyone, including locals and tourists was relaxed and enjoying the wait for their flights as they heard the news that the protesters in Bangkok had announced that they would end their demonstration and leave the two airports on Wednesday.

Mr. Kumpol Tansatjah, the president of Nongnooch Village revealed that the management of Nongnooch could not just ignore the critical situation for tourism at this time. He said Thai people have to do their best to provide service for the tourists and hopefully they will understand and come back to visit Thailand again in the future.
