Money Exchange Operator Complains After Robbery

A money exchange operator complained to reporters after he had been robbed by 2 men in the early hours of the morning.

PATTAYA – Recently- [Pattaya Daily News] Previously, a foreign had robbed a money exchange shop in Pattaya on February 9th, Mr.Yodchai Puengphon-operator of Beigman Excahnge- notified the reporters after his shop had been robbed on the night of January 20th.

 

Mr.Yodchai said that he had checked the CCTV and he found that the incident occurred at 03.00 am and 2 men who looked like teenagers. Later the men pretended to talk on the phone in front of the shop before they broke the door and robbed an I -pad, a notebook and some money. The whole incident only lasted 10 minutes before they fled the scene. Later he notified the police officers at Pattaya police station but the story was ignored.

 

In addition, he found out that other money exchange shops in local area had been robbed like this and the robbery had taken place around 03.00-05.00 am and the police couldn’t arrest the villains.

 

Pol.Col.Trairong Piewpan-deputy commander- said that the police officers were investigating and hunting the villains and they expected that the villains might not be the same gang. Also, the commander ordered the officers to intensify their patrols in the problem areas.
