Announcing the Miss International Queen 2010 Contest

Once a year, Tiffany’s Show Pattaya will transform its stage to host the grandest beauty pageant Miss International Queen which is now a world class pageant for all beautiful ‘ladies’ from all over the world to follow their dream. This year, the press conference to announce the pageant of year 2010 was held at Central World, on Thursday, 14th October 2010 with Miss Ai Haruna: present Miss International Queen 2009, performed her dazzling show that has been a proof of why she has captured the heart of Japanese and Thai fans alike.

Bangkok, 14th October 2010:  Alisa Phanthusak, Assistant Managing Director, Tiffany’s Show Pattaya Co Ltd stated, “this year press conference is one of the very special event with Miss Ai Haruna performing her special show, which is a top-hit to her fans in Japan and in Thailand as well. People really accept her and love her art, she has brought smiles, happiness to many around her and that, the management team of Miss International Queen is very proud of her as our Miss International Queen 2009. She is a true evidence of one who achieves her dream and travels beyond the border to follow her dream.”

About the 2010 pageant, “The theme of the contest focuses on ‘To Dream the Dream’ and who will be a better proof of success than Miss Ai Haruna who beautifully takes control of he own destiny, and now on her way to star. She has now become the role model for many both men and women to believe in themselves and never give up. The Miss International Queen crown has also played major role in her success,” said Alisa Phanthusak.

Miss International Queen contest this year has more than 21 contestants from 14 nations around the globe: Singapore, Belgium, the Philippines, Japan, Brazil, Nepal, Korea, Canada, USA, Ecuador, Sweden, France and Thailand. The new comer includes Sri Lanka, a meaning of more open opportunity for the Miss International Queen to reach out to its audiences. Alisa shared, “Warm welcome to all contestants to land of smile where you will be free to express your true self and share with the world.”

Thailand is also represented by Mig-Nalada Thamthanakorn, who was crowned Miss Tiffany’s Universe 2010 in May. Mig said she was grateful for this opportunity to represent Thailand on the international contest and most of ‘ladies’ would be thrilled to walk on Tiffany’s Show stage. She realized how tough it is as all contestants will bring their best to the contest however she is confident that her dedication and the support from all Thais will bring her closer to the Crown.

Pratunam PolyClinic’s Dr. Thep Vechavisit, main supporter if the Contest stated about Miss International Queen that it is a very honorable beauty pageant that stands not only for most beautiful winner but also for equality and social acceptance for transgenders. “Therefore, to support this contest is our pride and honor to be part of the movement that brings about the integrity of the society,” said Dr. Thep.

Kittinan Daramadhaj, President of the Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand said, “we are honoured to be part of this world class beauty pageant Miss International Queen 2010 which we hopes to help open the door for transgender and create better understandings, positive return to differences in people.” With the like support by The Asoke Skin Hospital’s Darin Somsuwan, corporate communications who believes that the good collaboration between Tiffany’s Show Pattaya and the Hospital will enhance the splendor of the stage and contestants in the area of the hospital’s expertise: skin care.
