
“Miracle Eyes” Are To Be Installed In Pattaya
A brand new CCTV system is to be installed in Pattaya to reduce the crime rate. The CCTV system is called “Miracle Eyes” which uses the internet and has been very successful in Bangkok.PATTAYA – April 9,2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- At Pattaya City Hall conference room Pol.Maj.Gen.Adul Narongsak-deputy director of Royal Thai Police-chaired the opening ceremony of the Miracle Eyes project(A new anti-crime surveillance project by using CCTV) and officials from the CCTV suppliers who demonstrated the CCTV in the conference.
Pol.Maj.Gen.Adul Narongsak said that the project was a collaboration of the Metropolitan Police Bureau and the project efficiently in Bacngkok. They would like to expand their CCTV cover to other areas and Pattaya was their first option. “Miracle Eyes” is a new anti-crime surveillance project by using CCTV, for example if homeowners are not at home and a burglar robs their house the CCTV has a sensor or red line which will immediately notify the police monitoring centre via internet and homeowners can also monitor their home at any time anywhere via a smart phone application. Under Miracle Eyes, police patrols are expected to arrive at any crime scene between 5 and 10 minutes.
