Mini Van Driver Arrested For Attempted Rape

A mini van driver has been arrested after he had tried to rape female passengers who were alone in his van. He used a knife and a gun to threaten them.

On the 29th March a mini van driver attempted to rape a girl, he parked in front of the Sahaunion plant, Bang Phra and pointed a knife and pistol at her. She then fought back and was slashed across the fingers.

She told him that she would give him anything he wanted so he asked her where she wanted to go and she said that she needed to get off now because her boyfriend was waiting. He then dropped her off and fled the scene so she decided to contact the police who quickly arrested him and took him to re-enact the scene.

 

In addition, the suspect had committed the same offence on the 30th March at 10.00 am where he attacked a woman passenger who was also alone in his van with a knife in front of the Kasetsart University. Plus, another victim had also notified the police.

 

Initially, Mr.Watchara confessed that he tried to rape the girls because he couldn’t control himself. However, the police officers charged him for rape and detaining others.
