Meatball Seller Arrested For Dealing Drugs

A meatball seller has been arrested for selling drugs. He told police that the sale of meat balls was a cover for his drug dealing. He was caught after the police questioned some teenagers about who their drug dealer was.

SATTAHIP – April 9 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; Mr.Pawat Lerdmukda- a sheriff of Sattahip- was accompanied by Mr Chawat Theptap-deputy chief of security- and Sattahip special force unit to trick drug agent. At the scene Mr.Songpol(Pat) Booncharoen a 29 year old meatball seller- was arrested for drug dealing. He was caught with 20 amphetamine pills, 3,000 baht and bronze Yamaha Fresh motorbike.

Mr.Pawat Lerdmukda revealed that they had questioned some teenagers and they told police that they bought their drugs from a from Mr.Songpol who sold meatballs in Marin market. So they sent an undercover agent to purchase some drugs which were hidden inside a bottle .Once the police identified themselves he tried to escape but was quickly caught.

Upon questioning him he told police he has been arrested before for drug offences and after he was released he started dealing again to make some money and used the meat ball stall as a cover. He was then held by the police who sent him to be prosecuted further according to Thai law.
