As a result, the official aims to effectively manage marine traffic so that Pattaya beach expansion would be unaffected and the operators can normally operate.
Pattaya beach would be extended the existing shoreline out into Pattaya Bay from Pattaya Information Centre to Dusit Thani hotel by approximately 2.8 Km. In addition, three platforms would be constructed 1,500 meters from shoreline so that sand barge can dock there. Therefore, ferry operator would have to avoid lane of the sand barge.
