Man Wearing Sunglasses Steals Gas At Petrol Station

A mysterious man driving a Toyota Fortuner car went into a petrol station to refill his tank. After the petrol station staff filled his tank, he immediately fled from the petrol station, leaving the gas unpaid for.

SATTAHIP – May 20, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; Ms. Panida Kaewkankun, age 20, a petrol station worker. Reported to Police Sub-Lt. Norpatr Thongdee of Plutaluang Police station that a mysterious man drove off after his gas tank was filled by her. Police Sub-Lt. When police investigated the incident, they were able to see the incident on the recorded CCTV footage.

After questioning Ms. Panida, it was known that at around 01.30 PM a Toyota Fortuner car drove into the petrol station to fill the car’s fuel tank. The mysterious man who drove the car ordered Ms. Panida to fill up his tank by 1,000 THB. As soon as she filled his fuel tank, he drove off. Ms. Panida tried to pursue him with her motorcycle, but she wasn’t fast enough to catch him.

As for Police Colonel Chaosiri Boonsiriyothin, Chief of Plutaluang Police station revealed that the car’s characteristics and license plates were clearly visible on the CCTV footage, making the chase-down of the suspect easier. Police are confident that they are able to catch the suspect in a timely matter.
