PATTAYA – September 5, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 13.00 pm Pol.Lt.Nakornrat Nonsirad-investigation inspector of Pattaya police station- was notified that there had been a murder in a room in Patchawan Place, Na Klua (district near Pattaya). After notification the police officers, doctors from Bang Lamung hospital and Thamma Satharn rescue team  rushed to the scene.

At the scene the officers found the body of Ms.Atchara Kokubo aged 28 laying on the bed with a doormat on her face and a blanket covering her body. Upon inspecting the body there were  bruises on her  chin but there was no other  wounds on the body. It’ expected that she had been dead for about 5-6 hours. Upon inspecting the room the TV and air conditioner were still on and the room was in a normal condition and there was no trace of fighting.

Upon questioning Mr.Patcharakitti Siteur aged 34 he revealed that  Mr.Sarayuth Kahsom who was Ms.Atchara’s brother called him and asked  him to go and check on  his sister because  he couldn’t get in touch her. He then went to her room and knocked the door but there was no reply. Later he decided to open the door where he found her dead.

Pol.Col.Suppatee Boonkrong revealed that it was Mr.Adul (Tee)’s room and he was Ms.Atchara’s husband. Ms.Atchara worked in Payao province while Mr.Adul worked for a  tour company in Pattaya. It’s expected that they had argued because Mr.Adul had another girl which made him  angry with her so he suffocated her with a pillow.

In addition the police officers questioned Ms.Atchara mother and she told the police that Mr.Adul had sent a message to her saying  that he had killed Ms.Atchara and he will hand himself in to  Nakorn Ratchasima police which he hadn’t done yet. However the police are now hunting for the murdering husband.
