Man Found Dead in Room After 7 days At Pattaya

A large over weight man has been found dead in his room. He had been dead for 7 days and the police think he may have died from natural causes.

PATTAYA–May 20, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- at 03.00 am. Pol.Lt.Jakkrit Jantaratakham-investigation inspector of Pattaya police station- was notified that there was a corpse in the room in Fly Bird Condominium. The police rushed to the scene with Sawang Borriboon Thamma Satharn rescue team.

At the scene on the 4th floor in room no. 537/140, the officers found the body who was identified as Mr.Phanupong Yongyut aged 50. He was naked and lying face down on the ground. Upon inspecting his body they found no trace of fighting or robbery. It’s expected that he had been dead for over 7 days.

Upon questioning Mr.Niyom Jumpa aged 39- the condominium security guard he told police that he always patrols each floor everyday but he smelt a rotten odour coming from the deceased mans room and the TV was still on. He had knocked the door for a while but there was no answer so he decided to call the police.

Mr Niyom added that Mr.Phanupong stayed with his wife and child but he hadn’t seen his wife and child for a while and he hadn’t seen Mr Phanupong for a week until they found him dead in his room.

After investigating the police expected that he might of died from natural causes. However they sent the body for an autopsy in order to find out the real cause of death.
