Lop Buri, the 3rd of December 2009 [Pattaya Daily News]: Police from the Muang District of Lop Buri Province in Central North Thailand received a report (early Tuesday the 1st of December), that a Thai man had been severely wounded at his home after having been stabbed by his wife. Police officers went to the scene to investigate further.

Once police arrived at the scene they were met out the front of a rented room in the Muang District by a distressed Thai woman, Mrs Saifon Tadthong age 32. The now dead body of her husband Mr Sakkarin Suksawat age 24, was lying on the floor of the room in a pool of blood. Mr Suksawat had sustained a serious chest wound, the result of a knife attack and was missing his penis which had been amputated by Mrs Tadthong after the stabbing.

Mrs Tadthong informed police that her husband had returned home drunk and demanded that she have sex with him, she refused and Mr Suksawat became enraged, assaulting Mrs Tadthong with a barrage of knees and punches. She further went on to explain that she had grabbed a kitchen knife to use in self defence, stabbing him once in the chest causing him to fall to the ground. After this she proceeded to cut off her husband?s penis whilst in a state of extreme rage over her mistreatment. Mrs Tadthong then decided to call for help, however; Mr Suksawat died of his injuries before the ambulance had arrived.

Mrs Tadthong suffered a bruised face and received several stitches to the head as a result of the attack by Mr Suksawat. She was arrested and taken to the police station for further questioning and judicial processing.
