Man Caught For Burglary In Pattaya

A man has been was arrested after he robbed some gold from a room which he lived next door to. He told police that he stole the gold to pay off his debts.

PATTAYA – November 26,2014 [Pattaya Daily News] at 17.00 pm Pol.Col.Suppatee Boonkrong-acting superintendent of Pattaya police station-, Pol.Lt.Col.Chinnawat Sisawat-deputy superintendent of-, Pol.Maj.Col.Thanawin Kaewsiang-inspector-, Pol.Capt.Netithorn Rattanasuchanan-deputy inspector- and police officers had made a statement about the arrest of a Mr.Lertlam Kunnarat aged 33 for robbery. He had stolen a gold necklace, a gold diamond ring, and a gold ball which were all valued about 31,000 baht.

 

Upon questioning Mr.Lertlam he said that he was a bellboy at the Ozo hotel in Pattaya and he stayed in the room next to the victim. On 23rd November at 11.00 am he climbed into the victim’s room and robbed the items. He then hid some of the gold in his room and sold some to pay off his debts.

 

Ms Thumaporn said that on the incident day she came back to her room and found that her room had been ransacked so she checked the room and found that she had been robbed.

 

Pol.Col.Suppatee revealed that he ordered Pol.Capt.Netithorn to hunt for the villain. They then noticed someone acting suspiciously so the officers inspect search him and he confessed to the burglary.
