Man Arrested Who Kept 14 Year Old Girl Captive

Bangplee police have arrested a man who beat and kept a young girl captive. He confessed to police that he was jealous of other men who wanted her.

SAMUTPRAKARN – March 2, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; Pol.Maj.Gen.Thatchai Hongthong, commissioner of Samutprakarn provincial police, Pol.Col.Nakornpat Prompan, Pol.Col.Wasan Boonjarern, Pol.Col.Yongyuth Dejarat, Pol.Col.Somchai Intampuang, Pol.Col.Korawat Hanpradit, altogether announce the arrest of Mr.Abhiwat Pukjarern, 21 years old, from moo 3, Bangkaeo, Bangplee, in the case of raping a 15 years old girl and beating her with a wooden stick seriously injuring her.

The mother of A, the alias of the girl, 14 year old student went to notify Pol.Col.Korawat hanpradit, the director of Bangplee police station that she wanted the police to arrest a Mr.Abhiwat, who abused and detained her daughter. When the police reached the crime scene the man had disappeared. They young girl had some black and blue bruises on her body which showed signs of being beaten with a wooden stick. There was also some hair on the floor. The girl told police that she had been detained for 5 days from February 24, and she took the opportunity when he was careless to call her mom for help. Whilst the police were checking the scene the man called the girl and asked her to meet him at Ubolsri village, Praksa, Muang. The police then set up an ambushed to arrest him. Once he was he confessed that he hit her with wooden stick and cut her hair all because he was jealousy of other men that were after her and he met her via Facebook. He was then sent to the police detectives to prosecuted further.
