Maid Wakes Up To Find Burglar In Her Room In Pattaya

A burglar has stolen over 20,000 THB in cash and belongings from a maids room in a hotel in Pattaya. The maid woke up to find the burglar stealing her property before he fled.

PATTAYA – November 14, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 12.30 a.m., Miss Thuan Aksornnarong, aged 38, residing at house no. 84 Moo 12, Tambon Krasang, Amphur Mueang, Buriram province, who is a maid of a hotel in Pattaya city, had notified Pol.Lt. Watthana Pradit (Inquiry official of Pattaya city police station) that a room had been burgled from her room no. 316/148-149, Soi Bua Khao, Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province, which was a room for the employee who works at the hotel.


Upon investigating Miss Thuan Aksornnarong ( victim) she said that while she was sleeping in her room she felt that somebody else was in the room so she woke up and found a Thai male teenager aged approximately 18-20 who was trying to steal her purse which was on her headboard. She then shouted for help and the burglar picked up her purse and said “I will get out, bye” before fleeing the scene. He stole 1 gold Buddha image weight 50 satang, 1 gold amulet of rolled brass of monk Khun worth approximately 10,000 THB, 1,000 THB, 1 mobile phone worth approximately 9,000 THB and many important documents.

After initial investigation then the police made note for evidence and coordinated with a detective police team to rush to inspect the scene and to check the CCTVs in the area to find the identity of the thief so he can be arrested as soon as possible.
