The businessman son of a Pattaya politician has teamed up with real estate partners to develop a 169-unit luxury condominium project.

The Chezz Metro Life Condo Condominium project is located in downtown Pattaya. Condo units range from 29 to 60 square meters. Prices start at 1.29 million baht.

Mr. Ekasit Ngampichet of Pandinthong Development Co., Ltd. said he signed a real estate alliance with an agent from Savills company (Thailand) Co., Ltd. for the condo project.

The Chezz Metro Life Condo is being developed as a joint venture with Bank of Ayudhya Public Limited Company.

More than 400 million baht has been invested to develop the project, encompassing 1.5 rai near the central business area of downtown Pattaya. Mr. Ekasit, the son of Pattaya politician Sansakcharoon Ngampichet, said the project is targeted toward the “new generation” of buyers who like living in convenience. The interior design was decorated with natural shades of greenery.

A globally prominent real estate company is supervising the marketing. “We appointed Savills company (Thailand) Ltd., a real estate agent to take care of the marketing,” Mr. Ekasit said. “It was the only one we chose. There have been customers buying our condominium gradually, until now it has sold about 100 units, representing 60 percent of the project.”

Buyer interest remains high, Mr. Ekasit said. He expects all units to be sold by the end of the year. The project will be officially launched on August 20, according to the project manager.
