Latest Update Of Minibus Crash In Pattaya

A Russian woman has met with the police after her husband suffered a severe injury to his leg when he was involved in a hit and run accident while travelling by minibus.

PATTAYA- Recently- [Pattaya Daily News] regarding to the case that Chevrolet Colorado truck had collided with a minibus and caused 10 Russian tourists to be injured and one of them had suffered a severe injured. The accident took place on the Sukhunwit road on the 1st December at 22.00 pm. Plus the truck driver fled the scene.

 

On the 3rd December at 14.00 pm Mrs.Elena Naydina aged 27 from Russia who is the wife of Mr.Mikhail Kuznetsov aged 36 met Pol.Col.Suppatee Boonkrong-acting superintendent of Pattaya police station- in order to follow up the progress of the case and to discuss her husband’s medical fees.

Mrs.Elena said that on the incident day she left her son with her relatives before she and her husband went on a trip. On the way back to their hotel they were involved in an accident causing server injuries to her husband’s leg. Mrs.Elena added that her husband was severely injured and he needed an experienced doctor to operate on him. Plus the cost of the operation was very expensive and she had paid 300,000 baht of a 455,775 baht bill on the first day. She needed more money to help her husband because she didn’t have enough so she decided to meet the police.

 

Pol.Col.Suppatee revealed that he had talked with the woman and she needed more money to pay for her husband’s medical fees. She has opened a donation with the help of the police at a Krungthai bank. The account number is 982-940-166-9 if anyone would like to donate any money. The rest of the money will go to help other foreigners. The foundation also gave 10,000 baht to help towards the medical costs.However the police have identified the driver already and he is a Mr.Nattapol (M) Klinhom aged 20. The police officers are now hunting for him so he can be prosecuted and charged for the medical costs.
