Latest Update Of 7-11 Robbery In Pattaya

The latest update of the knife and sword wielding robbers is that the police have inspected more CCTV’S in the area where they escaped and that more witnesses have been questioned. They expect to arrest them soon.

PATTAYA– Recently [Pattaya Daily News]; regarding the case that 2 men with knives who had robbed a 7-11 and took 2,000 baht. Also they had robbed another 7-11 shop in the same area. Latest the police were hunting for the thieves.

Pol.Lt.Col.Poomsit Singthuen-deputy superintendent of Pattaya police station- summoned Ms.Arrerat Tatthai aged 30 the shop manager, and Ms.Chawanluk Sukklnang aged 33 a shop assistant manager to be questioned in more detail. However they still couldn’t identify the actual identities of the thieves.

 

In addition the officers had inspected the CCTV which had recorded the incident. Upon inspecting the officers found that a Thai man aged approximately 20-25 held a butchers knife to rob the cashier and the other man who had covered his face used a sword. They then forced the cashier to give them about 2,000 baht before quickly fleeing from the scene. They robbery only took 3 minutes.

Pol.Col.Suppatee Boonkrong-acting superintendent of Pattaya police station- revealed that he had ordered the officers to question more witnesses and to inspect more CCTV’s near the crime scene where the robbers had escaped. It’s expected that they would be arrested soon.
