Ladyboy Caught Snatching Russian’s Gold Necklace

Pattaya tourism police arrested a 29-year-old ladyboy for snatching a Russian’s gold necklace near Friendship Market. The suspect denied any wrongdoing, even though witnesses and the victim confirmed the theft.

PATTAYA – April 2, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 2 a.m., the arrest of a ladyboy for yanking the necklace off a foreign tourist near the Friendship market in Pattaya Tai road was made by Pattaya tourism police and the volunteers to assist tourists.

The ladyboy suspect was identified as Mr. Pornkaran Seumram or Nuna, age 29, from Tambon Koksa-ard, Amphur Nongbuarahew, Chaiyaphum province. Police seized the evidence of a 1 K gold necklace with the cross locket, worth approximately 50,000 THB. The officers restrained the defendant to take to the investigation officer at Pattaya police station to prosecute.

The victim was identified as Mr. Anatoliy Hrezheshchuk, age 52, nationality Russian. Mr. Anatoliy told police he was walking on the sidewalk to go back home and was passing in front of Friendship Market in south Pattaya, Moo 10 Tambon Nong Preu, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province.

But he was approached by Mr. Pornkarun who was dressed as a woman, who came to offer to sell sexual services to the victim. Then the ladyboy suddenly yanked the K gold necklace worn by the Russian until it tore off his neck, and tried to run away to escape.

But the tourism police and the volunteers to assist the tourists were passing by and saw the incident, so they assisted the victim and helped arrest the trouble maker. After being detained, the ladyboy who made trouble denied making any trouble, although he was caught red-handed snatching the necklace.

But the victim also confirmed the theft, so the tourism police restrained the defendant to send to the investigation officer at Pattaya police station to prosecute further according to the law.
