Jellyfish Appears In Pattaya, Official To Cope ItPattaya officials warned tourist to beware of jellyfish during monsoon.
PATTAYA – August 30,2016 [PattayaDailyNews]; Mr Sethapol Boonsawas, adviser of acting Pattaya mayor, was accompanied with doctors, marine rescuers, municipal officers and concern sectors to campaign on Jomtien beach in order that the tourist should beware the jellyfish washed up during monsoon.
The officials provided posts and notices of warning and instruction when the tourist might be injured by this specie. Plus, the text is written in Thai, English, Russian and Chinese.
During September-October, a lot of jellyfish normally appeared and they are washed up on the beach. Recently, 7 tourists were already injured from touching the jellyfish.
Mr Sethapol said that Pattaya would provide beach guards who are ready to assist the patient at anytime.
