International Drug Dealer Gang Arrested In Pattaya!

Pattaya, the 21st of November 2009 [PDN]: At 11.30 on the 20th of November 2009, Police Major General Thanet Pinmeuanggnam, along with several other officers revealed that they have been keeping under observation a large drug dealing group operating out of Pattaya.

Police caught five members of the gang. The gang members were identified as Mr. Kiangkrai (Neung) Bunkert aged 25, Mr. Philip Smackels aged 26 (from Ireland), Miss Suwida (Su) Harnkham, Miss Apinya (Salay) Sriwikarn aged 34 and Miss Jatuporn (Ploy) Maneejak aged 35. The evidence collected included 100 pills of ecstasy, 107 bags of Ya-Ice weighing 115.07 grams and 5 bottles of liquid Ketamine.

The arrests were made after Pattaya Police agreed to a new policy designed to stop the spread of drugs in Pattaya and the surrounding areas by a zero tolerance policy for all nationalities caught with drugs whose intent is to supply. After receiving a tip off that a house located at 106/19 in the Eakmongkol Village 2/1 Moo 10 in Pattaya was the hub of large quantities of narcotics, Police arranged for a team to be assembled in order to arrest the 5 offenders along with evidence of their drug traffic ro be collected.

The offenders have been forwarded to a special team of investigators for further questioning as they have been charged with possession and sale of drugs(Class 1). Police found that Mr. Kiangkrai (Neung) Bunkert aged 25 also had an outstanding arrest warrant for murder.
