Intelligence Report On Japanese Journalist’s Death Not Leaked To Pheu Thai – DSI

Pheu Thai MP, Jatuporn Promphan, had previously stated that his party had received a copy of the report and that he would release it to the foreign media. However, Mr. Tharit had contacted the National Police Headquarters, who had confirmed that the alleged leaked document did not match the findings of the DSI.

Moreover, Japanese officials were happy with the work of the DSI, and had been fully briefed about the investigation and were privy to more details and information than that contained in the leaked document.

The Director-General also stated that investigations into the deaths of the 89 people killed during the clashes earlier in the year were ongoing, and urged everyone not to jump to conclusions.
