Indian Man Mugged

An Indian man was mugged by a 5 Thai teenagers as he walked along Pattaya beach road. The attackers took his phone and 75,000 baht in cash.

PATTAYA – April 9,2015 [PattayaDailyNews]; at 01.00 am Pol.Lt.Sirapudet Chamnankit-inspector of Pattaya police station- was notified that 5 Thai Teenagers had attacked a foreigner and robbed him before fleeing the scene. After notification the police officers rushed to inspect the crime scene.

 

At the crime scene the officers found MR.NARANDR RAJOO aged 50 from India who was drunk and had head and face injuries. Upon questioning him revealed that he was on the way back his accommodation when a group of teenagers attacked and robbed him taking his phone and 75,000 baht.

Upon questioning Ms.Wipada Laosaeng aged 35 who witnessed the incident said that the victim was walking along the road when 5 Thai teenagers went up to him attacked and took his belongings before fleeing the scene.

The police had investigated the incident and questioned some local people and they found out that the teenagers had attacked people who had walked along the street before so the police are now speeding up their inquiries to arrest them and prosecute them as soon as possible.
