A young woman from E-Sarn (Northeast Thailand) rented an apartment so she could have a Yah Ice and Yah Bah party for her Thai and foreign friends. She was arrested and the evidence was seized from the room.

On 6 November 2007, at 1:30am, Pattaya Crime Suppression Police Officer, Police Lieutenant Colonel Santi Chainiranam was notified about a gathering of unsavory individuals in a one-room apartment for the purpose of consuming illegal drugs. The drug party took place in Room 102 at “Bua Khao Pattaya”, located at 40/10 Moo 9, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi. A police team rushed to the scene to investigate.
In the room, officials found Miss Amphai Nijirum (24), from Konkaen Province, intoxicated and consuming Yah Bah. She was arrested and the evidence, including drug paraphernalia, four and a half Yah Bah tablets (amphetamine) and a small pack of Yah ice (methamphetamine), was seized.

Miss Amphai confessed that she provides sex for money along Pattaya Beach. She said that she is heavily addicted to Yah Bah and bought the illicit drugs from an agent on Walking Street. She paid two thousand baht for five Yah Bah tablets and one thousand baht for a small packet of Yah Ice.

She had rented the room and had organized a drug party for her Thai and foreign friends. However, by the time she was nabbed, all her friends had escaped. Police arrested Miss Amphai and charged her with possession of illegal drugs, type one (Yan Bah and Yah Ice); and for consuming illegal drugs, as well.
