Illegal Poker Casino Raided by Pattaya Police

Pattaya Police officers raided an illegal poker casino in Pattaya, following investigations that indicated that a tourist had opened an illegal casino in downtown Pattaya.

Pattaya – July 28, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; An Illegal Poker Casino was raided and closed down by Pattaya Police officers. The casino was reportedly located near Pramtumnak Rd.

During the raid, police were able to arrest 9 foreigners who were committed into gambling. The foreigners were tourists from the USA, UK, Belgium, Austria, Canada and Austria, they were reportedly aged from 25 to 67.

 

A number of gambling accessories were seized by the Police officers as well. Huge amounts of cash money were seized as well, it was reported that cash money of 107,000 THB, 1711 USD and 380 EUR were found within the casino.

Police will now try to dig further into the case in order to find and arrest the organizer of the illegal poker casino.
