Illegal Pattaya Abortion Clinic Closes – Opens Again

Arrested for the third time the illegal abortion clinic owner in Pattaya with expired permit receives complaints. Police and public health officials were notified.

Pattaya (September 8, 2011)[Pattaya Daily News]; Pol. Lt. Col. Ratta Pratumkaew, Deputy Superintendent, Pattaya Police was informed about an illegal abortion clinic located in 223/23 Moo 9 Tambon Nongpreu, Chonburi. An arrest warrant was issued and Pol. Lt. Col. Santi Choocherd, and Pol. Capt. Nattapol Akaruen rushed to the clinic.

During the raid a police officer was disguised as an undercover pregnant woman who went to ask for abortion and found the owner Ms Somjai Buasaen age 44, address: 13 Supoe road, Tambon Pibulmungsaharn Ubonratchathani.

Thereafter the undercover agent sent an signal to the police to come in with arrest warrant and detain Ms Somjai Buasaen aged 44 including all abortion equipment and copy of the permit to operate the clinic referring to Doctor Charnvit Sattayaprasert plus a note book with details of abortion customers.

Pol. Col. Nuntawut Suwanlaorng Superintendent Pattaya Police said that the clinic has previously been reported to the police. Arrests were made but the clinic continued to perform abortions.

Ms Somjai Buasaen has ben arrested twice previously and was bailed out. Moreover the permit for Doctor Charnvit Sattayaprasert to operate clinic had expired in year 2009. The public health officials are notified investigate and take immediate action.

An illegal abortion clinic in Pattaya Klang, disguised as a Pharmacy in the front, got bagged along with its many abortion equipments. The particular abortion clinic had been caught before, however not afraid of the law or karma they re-opened to carry out legal abortions in Pattaya.
