Illegal Abortion Clinic in Central Pattaya Closed

An illegal abortion clinic in Pattaya Klang, disguised as a Pharmacy in the front, got bagged along with its many abortion equipments. The particular abortion clinic had been caught before, however not afraid of the law or karma they re-opened to carry out legal abortions in Pattaya.

Pattaya, 10th February 2011 [Pattaya Daily News] At 15.30, Pol. Lt. Chusak Kethong, together with officials of the Crime Suppression Division on Human Rights, cooperating with the officials of the Pattaya police station, formed a team led by Pol. Gen. Nantawut Suwanlaorng, Police Lt. Trathep Dtuphanich and: Pol. Major Arun Promthan, police inspector of the tourist police Pattaya. Together, they inspected the ‘Pattaya 3rd Rd. Medical Clinic’ 228/18 Moo 9  Pattaya 3rd Road  Nongphrue  Banglamung  Chonburi.

 

 Pol. Lt. Chusak Kethong announced that after the police had supressed the illegal acts on human or Crime Suppression Division on Human Rights , they were informed by a sufferer  who said that ‘Pattaya 3rd Road Medical Clinic’ had opened the clinic as a disguise for their illegal abortion ‘business’. A police undercover agent was sent to confirm this. Subsequently, the police team went to arrest the clinic owners, close the clinic and confiscate their equipment. Four nurses working at the clinic  were also quarantined for questioning.

 

Ms Somjai Buasen confessed that she was the owner, and opened the pharmacy in the front to disguise the clinic’s real actvity. She also said that Pattaya police officers had already arrested her last year for performing illegal abortions.
