Hotel Maid Arrested For Stealing Guests Property

A hotel maid was arrested for stealing guests’ property which was left in their rooms while they were out. She confessed to the crime of stealing property but the cash she stole she would share it with another maid.

Pattaya, January 16,2014 [PDn]: at 03.00, Pol.Lt.Col.Nattawat Seetonpet, detective officer of Muang Pattaya police station, was notified by the Welcome Plaza Hotel, Pattaya Rd.2, that they had caught a maid who had been stealing property from guests rooms.

From asking Miss Khwanpirom Amanpirom, the maid, with the evidence, Russian money, 5000 roubles cash, there was Mr.Semen, 25 years old, victim insisted the police arrest her. He said he left the money in a shirt pocket, and he left the shirt in the room,before he went out , when he came back, the money was missing, so he told Miss Janrasm Surapitakpong, the manager and asked for the CCTV to be checked and found that the maid came in the room.

Miss Janrasm, the hotel manager questioned Miss Khwanpirom, the maid about the alleged thefts who then confessed to the crime but she told the manager that as for the money that was stolen she had given it to another maid who was on another shift so the manager called her to bring the money back. The manager wants this case to be a lesson to other maids that the hotel will punish anyone else who is caught thieving.

After asking the maid, she confessed, and the police arrested her.

There was another case where a Russian tourist notified the police that 300 dollars that was in her room at the Eastiny Resident Hotel, soi 10, Pattaya beach road was missing, and did not know who took it. The hotel had checked the CCTV, but it wasn’t working so the police wrote in police log to investigate further.
