High School Student Kills 2 Women In Car Crash

A male student at a local high school, returning from an exam, was involved in an accident, resulting in the death of two women on a motorbike.

SATTAHIP – March 10, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 12.30 a.m. Pol.Lt. Niphon Nonkuea (Investigative policeman on duty at Na Jomtien police station) was notified that there was an accident involving a car colliding with a motorbike killing 2 victims. The incident occurred on Sukhumvit road, km.160, Pattaya – Sattahip route, at the entrance to the intersection with Yarnnasang Wararam temple, Tambon Na Jomtien, Amphur Sattahip, Chonburi Province. He rushed to inspect the scene together with members of the Sawang Rojjana Tharmma Satharn Sattahip Foundation.

At the incident, on the side of the road, the officers found a navy blue-grey Honda Wave motorbike, license number Ngor Tor Thor -260, registered in Chonburi, which had been severely damaged and crushed against a billboard. Close to the motorbike the officers found two bodies – Mrs. Lamduan Sriwijarn, aged 45, who was the motorbike driver, address 14 Moo 2 Tambon Non Somboon, Amphur Khao Son Kwang, Khon Kaen Province, and Mrs. Suban Lamlert, aged 50, address 11/1 Moo 4 Tambon Bang Kong, Amphur Nong Ruea, Khon Kaen Province. Both had broken necks, and lacerations all over their bodies.

Approximately 100 meters away, there was a white Suzuki Swift car, license number Kor Yor-1132 , registered in Rayong, which was severely damaged and on the windshield had traces of brain matter and hair from the deceased.

The shaken and confused car driver, a Mr. A (alias), aged 18, who is a high school student in class Matthayomsuksa 6 of a secondary school in the area of Amphur Sri Racha, gave his testimony to the police. Mr A. told them that he was returning from having just taken his GAT/PAT exam (General Aptitude Test/Professional and Academic Aptitude Test) at Amphur Sri Racha, Chonburi Province. On his drive home he was travelling along Sukhumvit, passing a U-turn point. The motorbike cut across his front, and he had no opportunity to avoid the collision. As a result, the riders were knocked off the bike, onto his windshield, and onto the road. The riders both suffered broken necks.
