Hero Saves Woman from Burning Car 

A Thai woman who crashed her car into an electrical post was lucky to escape with her life after a Thai man pulled her to safety from her burning car.

PATTAYA-31st  May- [PattayaDailyNews] at 00.10 am Pol.Lt.Col.Pumipat Namputtha-inspector of Bang Lamung police station- was notified that a car had lost  control  and crashed into an electrical post before bursting into flames on the Sukhumvit road. After notification the police officers and rescue team immediately rushed to the scene.


At the scene the officers found a Toyota Camry which was on fire and it took the fire brigade around 20 minutes to bring it under control.


Upon questioning some bystanders they told police that the driver was rescued in time before the car burst into flames. The driver was identified as Ms.Chutamat Traisuppachok aged 23 who is the daughter of Mr.Pairat Traisuppachok-mayor of Huay Yai district. She had suffered a fractured skull. Therefore, the officers performed first aid on her before sending her to the Bangkok-Pattaya hospital.

Upon questioning Mr.Chanchai Duangchan aged 23 he revealed that he was in a stone shop when he heard an explosion and rushed out to see what had happened and saw the car on fire. He then ran over smashed the window and pulled the injured woman out to safety.


Pol.Lt.Col.Pummipat revealed that the police officers had inspected the scene but no one witnessed the accident. It’s expected that the driver may of  dozed off while driving to Pattaya and was lucky not to of been killed.
