Heavy Rain Causes FloodingPattaya city has suffered flooding on many local roads which caused traffic congestion after heavy rain hit the city.
PATTAYA-September 14, 2015- [PattayaDailyNews] Pattaya city was affected by heavy rain which caused flooding on many local roads creating major traffic congestion.
The flood water had drained onto high Motorway 7, and into the Krating Lai overpass. The water was around 1.2 meters deep and cars were trapped both sides of the flood water.
However, the flood level quickly reseeded to around 30 centimeters in depth so the cars could pass through the flood water easing traffic congestion.
Also a land slide was reported in Taean Tea village which caused some local damage to the area. Furthermore a labour camp was also affected by the flooding and around 200 labourers had to flee the camp because of the rising flood water.
