Handmade Grenade Thrown into Motorbike Repair Shop in Pattaya

Two stupid young teenagers were seen throwing a handmade grenade into a motorbike repair shop causing damage to the owner’s bike.

PATTAYA – September 25, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 10.00 p.m., Pol.Lt.Col. Weerawuth Meelai (Inquiry official of Pattaya city police station) was notified by Mr. Patcharaphong Laohaphattharadamrong, aged 33, Rayong resident (who drove a red – black Honda Scoopy motorbike, license no. Sor Thor Thor 333, Bangkok, to Pattaya city police station) that a culprit threw a handmade grenade at his bike which caused damage to the back.

 

Mr. Patcharaphong (a victim) told the police that before incident occurred he had parked his motorbike in front of his motorbike repair shop which is located at the beginning of Soi 6, Phra Tam Nak road, Moo 10 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province. He then walked to the toilet when suddenly he heard a loud explosion so he ran to see what had happened and found that his motorbike had been damaged.

 

He said that his employees saw 2 male teenagers who were riding a ladies motorbike threw a grenade before quickly fleeing the scene. Mr. Patcharaphong believed that it might be to do with a young woman who tried to pawn her motorbike with him to which he refused and she argued with him.

 

After initial investigation the police made note for evidence before ordering a detective police team to inspect the CCTVs along the route to find the identity of the cowardly criminals so they can be prosecuted further according to the Thai law.
